Cruise Dresses

 

I had the WORST day at work EVER today.

But instead of focusing on that we'll focus on something happier...

 

My cruise is in thirty days.

and I still need three more dresses. so i've been searching & searching & I found a few I think I'll order.

Plus I haven't even gone to the new outlet mall that opens this weekend in Galveston! I'm going to wait & see what I find there & if I don't find anything I'll be buying some of these lovely dresses!!

Mini Meatloafs - Italian Style!

As promised, here is my recipe for:

 Mini Meatloafs, Italian Style!

I made them for the first time last night and I kind of improvised the recipe so Darren was skeptical but they were delicious... Not only did he go back for seconds, he went back for THIRDS! ha!

 

[side note: I know the pan looks gross, I almost wiped it off before I took the picture, but hey.. this is what it will actually look like after they bake!]

Ingredients:

1/4 cup panko italian style bread crumbs

2 eggs

1 small can huntz tomatoe sauce

1/8 tsp. italian seasoning

1/8 tsp. garlic powder

1 pound ground beef

salt & pepper

ketchup for topping

Directions:

• pre-heat oven to 350F
• mix together all ingredients
• spray mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray
• spoon meatloaf mixture into muffin tins (about 3/4 full)
• ***this should fill up all 12 muffin tins***
• bake for 35-40 minutes
• top with ketchup and serve

 Now... I realized earlier that I didn't do a weekend re-cap so here's a quick photo overview of my weekend!

 

 

 These were from the party that Darren bartended at on Friday night.. He made some money & we had blast with some of our good friends!

Sunday was my company picnic so of course I had to get my face painted with my brother & sister & Darren & I just HAD to do the paddle boats!

Birchbox & Band-aids

I have good news and bad news.

Good news is I've been on the waiting list to join Birchbox for almost two months now and this morning I FINALLY received an email saying, "The wait is over!" I'm so excited and I can't wait to get my first box!! I'll be sure to do a review each month over the products I receive :)

In other news.. I completely forgot that I had signed up to get a free flu shot at work like two and a half weeks ago. Apparently today was the day for them. A lot of my co-workers tried to talk me out of getting it saying it'll make me really sick, but I decided to get it anyway. It didn't hurt too bad but now my whole entire arm is sore :(

ONLY 40 DAYS 'TIL OUR CRUISE!!

We will be on this beauty :) 

Now.... Back to my appetizing rather disgusting lunch!

Pumpkin Patch

I got to cross a few things off of my fall bucket list this weekend :)

Saturday we took Wrinkles to get a bath/nails trimmed/ears cleaned, etc. & while he was busy doing all that jazz, Darren & I picked up my brother & sister & took them to lunch at Chili's then to look at Halloween costumes. We STILL don't have Halloween costumes & our party is getting closer & closer...Then we picked baby boy back up & the kiddos LOVED playing with him!

Yesterday was my favorite! We went to a pumpkin patch called Dewberry Farm in Brookshire & with my best friend Shelby & her boyfriend Dustin & we had a BLAST! We took soooo many pictures, did a corn maze, picked pumpkins & saw animals. We'll definitely be going back next year. Apparently we were on the news & didn't even know it! When I showed up at work today, one of my co-workers came into my office & told me he saw me on the news last night at the pumpkin patch so I went to their website & sure enough... there we were! Too funny! Anyways.. Here's some pictures from the pumpkin patch. I'll try & limit them since we took like 5 million! :)
