Happy Monday y'all!
Just because today is Monday doesn't mean it shouldn't be happy! ha
Friday I went to lunch with one of my best friends, Chloe. I hadn't seen her in forever & it was great to catch up. (& enjoy some chips & queso & a watermelon margarita... or two). Later that night, Darren & I went to see "The Purge" with my mom. I loved it. It was just a little predictable, but Darren said it was only predictable because we see so many dang movies, ha. So for those of you who don't go to the movies every other day, you shouldn't find it so predictable! lol
On Friday, I also got the sweetest note from Courtney!! I LOVE HAPPY MAIL! :)

Saturday we laid in bed. All afternoon. Talk about lazy! ha. Saturday night we went over to our friends Shelby & Dustin's place for a game/pizza/drink night. We had a BLAST! We played apples to apples, phase 10 & pictionary. Now, let me just tell you: I ROCK AT PICTIONARY! I don't, however, rock at apples to apples or phase 10 but whatevz.
**The first person to correctly identify what that drawing is first gets a prize!! Obviously I have mad drawing skills.**
Sunday we slept in & then cleaned the house. We had to be home because the DIRECTV guy was supposed to come between 12 & 4. He showed up at 3:30... of course. & he was here til after 7! Let's hope this service is good... We loved U-verse & wanted to keep it, but when we moved they told us AT&T U-verse isn't available at our new place :( We ended the night with pizza & watched the Spurs game!

Your dog is just so precious! And U-Verse is awesome - so sad that you had to get rid of it :(. Obviously the picture is a horse wearing a saddle blanket...duh! :D. (or not, oh well.) But yes, happy mail is the BEST!

What a fun weekend! I should have just flown to Texas and hung out with ya'll. The best part of my weekend was getting to lay by the pool with my niece-- and when I say lay by the pool, I mean lay on concrete. My parents got their pool years back, before my mother was diagnosed with Melanoma.. they had chairs and all the fun pool stuff back then. Now, they have nothing and my fiance cleans the pool. The pool had just been shocked so we didn't get in, but spending time together was epic. We both talked about the books we were reading and about our boys! I love lil Wrinkles and I'm sending out Happy Mail today too! WOOT!!!

Yay for happy mail! I'm so glad you got it! I miss having U-verse, too. They don't have it in Central PA, but hopefully you guys can find a good replacement!

ReplyDeleteSo cute, Wrinkles! Pretty sure Boomer has those same bowls! Chips and dip you know the way to my heart girl! Looks like a fab weekend! We had DirectTV but had to get rid of it when we moved to this house. The local cable is okay but the DVR isn't as good as our old box from DTV!

ReplyDeleteLove Apples to Apples one of my faves! we have direc tv, its good, My only complaint is the way their bills are laid out and worded its very hard to understand so I always feel like we are getting ripped off cause I don't understand what some of the charges are for.
