Saw it. Pinned it. Did it. [Blackened Chicken with Garlic Alfredo Bow Tie Pasta]

It's time for Saw it. Pinned it. Did it.
With my all time favorite blogger, Katie & the beautiful Steph!
(If you missed my first week of Saw it. Pinned it. Did it... you can catch up here.)

This week I made a recipe.
& here it is!

Blackened Chicken with Garlic Alfredo Bow Tie Pasta

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp Creole Seasoning (I used tony's)
olive oil
1 container of Buitoni Alfredo
1 tbsp roasted garlic
8 oz bowtie pasta, cooked and drained
salt & pepper (not pictured)

Directions:
Pound chicken breast to an even thickness.
Drizzle olive oil over chicken breast to lightly coat.
Sprinkle creole seasoing liberally over both sides of the chicken.
Heat skillet on medium-high and add chicken.
Cook 3 mintues on each side. (I cooked mine a little longer because it wasn't quite done)
While chicken is cooking heat alfredo sauce and roasted garlic in a separate pot.
Add pasta and toss.
Divide pasta between two pasta bowls.
Thinly slice chicken and place on top of pasta.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, if desired.

my version

Let me just say that this was DELICIOUS! & pretty quick & easy!
I served it with some breadsticks & a glass of wine & it made the perfect weeknight dinner. I'd definitely recommend it to all of you! :)

Off to work I go!
